For security reasons, we do not accept cash deposits in any currency. Only a credit card will be requested for a bank authorization as rental guarantee. The amount depends on the vehicle category.
The guarantee deposits are as follows:

This is a reservation made but not yet confirmed or guaranteed. The rental is subject to availability and may change without notice. Contact an agent to confirm or guarantee your reservation.
A reservation is confirmed when the client verbally informs an advisor that they will use our services on a specific date and time, without providing an advance payment. The company guarantees the service but rental remains subject to vehicle availability.
A reservation is guaranteed when the client has made a minimum advance payment of one rental day. This ensures the availability of the selected or similar vehicle. The rental will be completed once 100% of the reservation is paid and required documentation is presented at our office.
This is a paid reservation, meaning documents and guarantees have been verified, and a contract has been opened between the client and Premier Car Rental for proper vehicle use.
The reservation is canceled when the user confirms they no longer need the service. For a full refund, cancellation must be requested at least 72 hours in advance. Otherwise, one rental day will be charged as penalty.
Our office hours are 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Sunday. Pick-up or drop-off outside these hours will incur an extra charge starting at $200 MXN per event.
The client has a 30-minute grace period after the contract return time. After that, each extra hour will be charged up to 3 hours, after which a full day will be charged. Additional charges vary depending on the distance between cities. Minimum rental days apply: 3 Days (Chetumal, Mérida, Campeche)
7 Days (Mexico City)
No minimum (Playa del Carmen and Tulum)
Fuel is NOT included in the total quote. Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as at delivery. No refunds for excess fuel.
The client has a 2-hour grace period after the return time. Each additional hour will be charged up to 3 hours, after which a full rental day will be charged according to the daily rate.
The return date and location will be agreed upon in the rental contract. Extensions must be requested at least 24 hours before the end of the rental. The initial reserved rate will be honored, but extra days will be charged at the current system rate. If the client changes the return time, they must notify us 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so releases Premier Car Rental from any responsibility for expenses or damages incurred. We reserve the right to report to the authorities any failure to return the vehicle within 3 days of the agreed return date without prior contact.
We recommend a minimum prepayment of 1 rental day to guarantee vehicle availability and any promotions applied at booking.
To cancel, please call +52 (998) 887 3176 at least 72 hours in advance. Prepayments will be fully refunded if canceled with proper notice. Otherwise, one rental day will be charged.
In case of an accident, the driver must immediately inform Premier Car Rental to coordinate with the insurance company. The driver must be listed in the rental contract and present a valid driver’s license. They must also remain at the scene to fill out the insurance report.
